The University of Delhi has advertised several faculty positions, at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor, in the Faculty of Social Sciences, which includes the Department of Economics. Candidates with good publication records, working in the frontier areas of research, are encouraged to apply. Recruited faculty will be expected to conduct research as well as teach MA, M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses.

The Department of Economics would be particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a high level of research and teaching ability in the following areas: Statistics and Econometrics, Macroeconomics, Environmental and Resource Economics, Health Economics, International Economics, and Monetary and Financial Economics.
